Foliar boron in the MEA (monoethanolamine) form.

What it does

Boron drives pollen viability, pollen-tube growth, and pod, kernel, and boll set. It is phloem-immobile, so new growth and flowers depend on a steady supply, and it will not build in the soil, so it gets spoon-fed in 2 to 3 small touches. The MEA (monoethanolamine) form gets into the plant where boric acid does not.

What it will not do

Boron will not build, and it burns

Boron does not accumulate in the soil, so it gets spoon-fed in small touches, not dumped. Over the cap it burns the leaf. This is a tight-margin nutrient we keep modest unless the soil or tissue confirms the need.

Trial data and expected range

+9 bu corn at 1 qt

A grower ran 1 quart per acre of Boron MEA on corn and saw a 9 bu increase. Most weak boron trials used boric acid, which does not get into the plant. MEA does.

Tank-mix and handling

Hard cap under 0.5 lb boron per acre per pass to avoid leaf burn, and under 2 lb per acre per year total. Pro Foliar already carries boron, so do not double-stack.
